FAQs
-
A sleep consultant helps families develop healthy sleep habits for their infants, toddlers, or children. Through personalised guidance, we assess your child’s current sleep routine and health status and provide customised strategies to help them sleep independently, stay asleep longer, and wake well-rested.
-
We can begin laying healthy sleep foundations from birth through gentle routines and habits- ‘sleep-shaping’. Formal sleep training methods are typically recommended around 4 to 6 months, once your baby is developmentally ready. Sleep Again begins working with newborns from 3 weeks of age as it is important to go-with-the-flow of the precious early weeks and establish feeding and recover from birth.
-
Yes, sleep training is safe when an age-appropriate method is selected and parents correctly and consistently implement the plan. We tailor our approach to your child’s developmental stage, temperament, and your parenting style to ensure comfort and safety throughout the process.
-
Not necessarily. We offer a variety of methods, ranging from gentle, responsive techniques to more structured approaches. We’ll work together to choose a method that aligns with your comfort level and your child’s needs.
-
Most families begin to see improvements within 3 to 5 nights, with significant progress within 1 to 2 weeks when following a consistent sleep plan. Every child is different, but consistency is key.
-

-
Absolutely. We address both nighttime sleep and naps, including issues like short naps, nap transitions, and early morning wakeups, to help your child get the rest they need throughout the day and night (and restore your sanity!)
-
We can tailor a plan to accommodate both children’s needs. Each child’s plan will be developmentally appropriate and manageable for your family routine. It’s always recommended to begin with the younger child first and once they are sleeping well, focus on the older child/ren.
-
